Walgreen's: Look for $1 Zarbee's Coupons Inside Box

This week Walgreen's has the Zarbee's Nighttime Cough & Sleep Drink free after Register Reward. There was a $1/1 Zarbee's printable Coupon available making this a money maker but that coupon is no longer available (NLA). If you missed the coupon, you are still in luck because when I looked inside the box I purchased there is a $1/1 Zarbee's Coupon inside the box. So, after you buy your first, you can use the coupon inside toward your next purchase of Zarbee's to score a money maker.

How to Organize Coupons

Organizing your coupons is the biggest challenge you will face while couponing.

There are a couple of methods to organizing coupons. I personally prefer the binder method cause I can carry it out with me on my coupon trips.

Binder Method
I purchased a five star binder and protective plastic sleeves to hold all my coupons. Each week I write the date on front I received it and slide them inside the sleeve for safe keeping.

File Method
This a very popular way to organize coupons. Store coupons inside a file cabinet and file by date received  or by items name.

As a beginner to couponing the best way to start building your coupons is to subscribe for home delivery or purchase a few at your local store each week. I recommend you subscribe for home delivery just to save you time and money. Also with the Extreme Coupon television show it has lead people to steal coupons out of the newspaper so home delivery will be a sure way you get your coupons.

Very important :Before you pay for your Sunday newspapers make sure you look inside to see that you have them.

Couponing 101

When I first started couponing as a part of my daily life, I was extremely overwhelmed. I started and quickly decided to stop because I didn't really see where I was saving money. This lead me to believe that all the people who were doing it were just wasting their time and not reaping rewards of optimal savings. However, I have now discovered that it does work and I can save more money than I originally thought.

Basic Couponing principles:

1. Use coupons when items are on sale
2. Stock up on items that you frequently use
3. Be willing to go to more than one store for your purchases
